WAYNE, NEB. - Cougar Soccer fell to Wayne State today 1-0.
USF took 7 shots with 4 of them being shots on goal. Mara Nelson and Lily Dahler each had 2 shots. Nelson had 1 shot on goal while Dahler had both of her shots on goal.
The Cougars played solid defense for most of the game but conceded in the 84th minute when Wayne State's Paige Pemberton scoring on a Maia Vicks assist.
Caroline Titze started in net for USF. Titze recorded one save in 45 minutes of action before Delani Daubman came in for the second half. Daubman gave up one goal while saving 6 shots.
USF had 2 corners in the game and faced 17 shots.
The Coo will return home for their next match as they take on Minnesota Crookston. USF hosts the Golden Eagles at Bob Young Field on Thursday September 26 at 6:00pm.
