LARCHWOOD, Iowa - Sioux Falls wrapped up play at the USF Invitational, with both Cougar women's golf teams finishing inside the top 11 at Grand Falls Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa. Gwen Latunski provided a spark with her play, pacing the Cougars with her 6th place finish after going 82-77 (+15).
Team Performance
USF's A team delivered an opening-round 323, eventually finishing seventh overall at +92 (323-345--668).
USF "A" Team – 7th Place (323–345—668, +92)
Wayne State took home the team title at +62 (311–327—638).
Depth on Display
In addition to the top lineup, USF B team put up strong performances through the tricky forecast.
USF "B" Team – 11th Place (349–364—713, +137)
Coach's Corner
"Gwen continued her strong play for us. Tuesday's round was very impressive on a very cold wet and windy day. She is one of the top newcomers in our conference," said Head Coach
Wade Merry.
"It wasn't a very good showing for us as a team. We have to play better, because we definitely have the talent to compete for a conference championship."

The Cougars will close out their fall campaign October 20-21 when they head to St. Joseph, Mo. for the Holiday Inn Express Classic.
