Key Cougars
Coach's Corner
"Today's result is frustrating. We are doing a lot of things really well but in key instances we haven't made the play that ultimately impacts the final score.
We are competing at the level needed to take the program where we want to go. But the margins between competing and winning, especially in the NSIC, comes down to our ability to dominate those key moments. That's something we are still learning to do to.
Today we managed possession really well and limited Winona's entries into the box. But those they did get they capitalized on and we, again, couldn't find the final pass or touch to convert our possession into something tangible on the scoreboard."
