USF Women's Wrestling Sweeps the Day at Beaver Bash Duals with Wins Over No. 24 Dickinson State, Chadron State and Minot State

11/21/2025 5:00:00 PM

MINOT, N.D.  - USF Women's Wrestling stormed back with a strong 3-0 outing at the Beaver Bash Duals after dropping their duel season opener last weekend. The Cougars defeated No. 24 Dickinson State, 22-21, before rolling past Chadron State, 31-14, and Minot State, 30-14, to move to 3-2 in dual competitions this season. Today's duals marked the first wins for first season head coach Griffin Osing.

"I'm extremely proud of how our team competed for each other today," stated head coach Griffin Osing. "We had a little bit of a tough go last weekend and we were able to respond the right way today. Our program preaches about wrestling with a high effort each time out and not focusing on the results. Today, our record is the result of those high efforts from each member on our team. Knowing we had to move some wrestlers around to fill our lineup, they were able to come together and get the job done."
