SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Four University of Sioux Falls women's volleyball student-athletes have been honored for their exceptional dual excellence as College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025–26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team.
Sadie Voss, Elise Gillen, Courtney Holsteen, and Haley Wolfe each claimed Academic All-District® honors after surpassing rigorous academic and athletic standards, including maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 while making significant competitive contributions during the 2025 season. The CSC Academic All-District® teams celebrate the nation's elite student-athletes across NCAA Division II who demonstrate outstanding performance both in competition and in the classroom.
Senior outside hitter Sadie Voss earned additional distinction as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to compete on the national ballot. First-, second-, and third-team CSC Academic All-America® honorees will be revealed on January 13, 2026.
CSC Academic All-District® Honorees
Sadie Voss* | Business Administration | Lakefield, Minn.
Voss delivered another commanding season from the outside, pacing the Cougars with 365 kills while averaging an impressive 3.35 kills per set across 109 sets. She posted a solid .269 hitting percentage on 937 total attacks while contributing 325 digs (2.98 per set), 31 total blocks, and an outstanding 408.0 total points—good for 3.74 points per set as a complete six-rotation force.
Haley Wolfe | Physical Therapy | Elkhorn, Neb.
Wolfe established herself as a formidable presence at the net, recording 153 kills on a remarkable .315 hitting percentage while averaging 1.47 kills per set. Defensively, she anchored the front row with a team-leading 107 total blocks, including 17 solo rejections, averaging 1.03 blocks per set while amassing 232.0 total points.
Courtney Holsteen | Elementary Education | Lincoln, Neb.
Holsteen delivered consistent offensive firepower throughout the season, compiling 239 kills (2.19 per set) while hitting an efficient .308 over 109 sets. She also contributed 63 total blocks and closed the year with 272.0 total points, averaging a steady 2.50 points per set.
Elise Gillen | Nursing | Slinger, Wis.
Gillen orchestrated the Cougars' attack from the setter position, distributing 639 assists while averaging 5.86 assists per set. She also contributed 184 digs on the defensive end, along with 42 service aces, playing a pivotal role in directing the USF offense throughout the 2025 campaign.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District® recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, and compete in at least 90 percent of their institution's matches or start in at least 66 percent. Academic All-District® honorees become candidates for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
