CLERMONT, FLA. - The University of Sioux Falls (3-7) Softball team split their doubleheader today, falling 6-4 in a close battle with Tiffin University (8-2) before bouncing back with a dominant 6-inning, 11-2 victory over Dominican University of New York (0-1).
GAME 1: TIFFIN 6, SIOUX FALLS 4
The Cougars fought back from an early deficit, tying the game at 4-4 in the fifth inning, but Tiffin scored two late runs to claim the win. Savanna Isaacson and Kyra Knudtson each recorded multi-hit games, while Gracie Johnson took the loss in relief.

After a quiet first five innings, the Cougars erupted for ten runs in the sixth to secure a run-rule victory. Lauryn Foudree earned her first win of the season with a strong performance in the circle, while Jaeleigh Darnell, Hannah Soderbeck, Isaacson and Knudtson powered the offense while combing for eight RBI.
