SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Athletics Department is proud to announce that Carley Neumann has been named the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA), bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the role. Neumann, who currently serves as the Associate Head Coach for USF Women's Basketball, will take on this administrative position while continuing to support the program.

"We are thrilled to announce Carley Neumann as our new Senior Woman Administrator," said USF Athletic Director Jon Hart. "Her leadership, passion for student-athlete success, and commitment to excellence make her an ideal choice for this role in our athletic department. During her time in college athletics, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to advocate for our student-athletes and staff."

As the SWA, Neumann will be a key member of the athletics leadership team, providing strategic oversight while ensuring compliance with NCAA, university, and conference regulations. She will take a leading role in promoting gender equity, supporting student-athlete development, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment within Cougar Athletics.

Neumann originally joined USF as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team in 2019-20, helping guide the Cougars to an NSIC South Division title and an NCAA Tournament appearance. She then moved to Presentation College, where she served as an assistant coach before being promoted to head coach. In 2023, she returned to USF as the Associate Head Coach, where she has continued to play a pivotal role in the program's success, overseeing recruiting, player development, and team operations.

Before her time at USF and Presentation, Neumann spent four years at St. Cloud State University as an assistant coach and graduate assistant. While at St. Cloud State, she was heavily involved in recruiting, scouting, and player development while earning both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Sports Management and Educational Leadership & Administration, respectively.

Beyond her coaching experience, Neumann has demonstrated a strong commitment to student-athlete success both on and off the court. She has led academic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and community engagement programs, helping to foster a culture of excellence within USF Athletics.

With her extensive background in leadership, compliance, and student-athlete advocacy, Neumann is well-positioned to make a significant impact in her new role. USF Athletics looks forward to the continued success and positive influence she will bring to the department.
