BURNSVILL, Minn. — The University of Sioux Falls placed 48 student-athletes on the 2025-26 NSIC Winter All-Academic Teams, as announced by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Of those honorees, 34 Cougars earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence recognition, awarded to student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or higher.
In total, 874 student-athletes across the NSIC earned All-Academic honors during the winter season, including 552 on the Team of Excellence and 322 on the All-Academic Team.
To qualify, student-athletes must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore academic and athletic standing, and have completed at least one full academic year at their institution. NSIC All-Academic Team members must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
USF's honorees represented six winter sports — Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Swimming, Men's Indoor Track & Field, Women's Indoor Track & Field, and Wrestling — highlighting the Cougars' continued commitment to academic success across all programs.
