LEESBURG, FLA. - The University of Sioux Falls (10-8) Softball team split its doubleheader today, securing a 2-1 victory over Northwood before falling in a high-scoring battle with Concord, 11-9.
GAME1: SIOUX FALLS 2, NORTHWOOD 1
In a tightly contested pitchers' duel, Maddi Duncan went the distance, allowing just three hits and striking out five to earn her sixth win of the season. Taryn Wagner's sacrifice fly in the fifth inning proved to be the game-winning run.

GAME 2: CONCORD 11, SIOUX FALLS 9
Despite rallying from an early 8-0 deficit, USF fell just short in a wild back-and-forth contest. Meghan Jochimsen and Amber McKinney led the offense, combining for five hits and four RBIs, while Taryn Wagner added two RBIs off the bench.
