SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Women's Golf team delivered a strong showing at the Augustana Spring Invitational, held April 7–8 at Elmwood Golf Course. The Cougars' A Team surged into second place with a two-day score of 637 (+61), finishing just five strokes behind the tournament champion.

Playing the par-72 Elmwood layout, the USF A Team posted rounds of 322 and 315 to secure the runner-up spot in a competitive 11-team field. The B Team also impressed, finishing seventh with a total of 672 (+96) after rounds of 334 and 338.
Leading the charge was Maggie Veenendall, who claimed medalist honors with a two-round total of 151 (+7). Veenendall followed up her opening 78 (+6) with a composed 73 (+1) in the final round to win the event by three strokes.
