Kearney, Neb. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision (21-25, 16-25, 10-25) to #8 Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday evening at the Health & Sports Center. The Cougars move to 3-2 on the year, while the nationally renowned Lopers improved to 6-0 on the season.
Match Summary
Sioux Falls battled point-for-point in the opening set, drawing even at 20-20 behind key kills from Sadie Voss and Courtney Holsteen, before UNK pulled away late for a 25-21 win. The Cougars continued to compete in the second, but the Lopers' balanced attack created separation midway through the frame. In the third, Nebraska-Kearney's efficiency at the net proved decisive as they secured the sweep.
