SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls women's wrestling team fought through a competitive home dual on Sunday afternoon but ultimately fell to Chadron State, 29-10, inside the Stewart Center. The Cougars earned a pair of victories on the mat and showed resilience throughout the lineup against a tough Eagles squad.

Sioux Falls vs. Chadron State

Chadron State jumped out to an early lead, capitalizing on a pair of forfeits at 103 and 110 pounds before extending its advantage with key wins in the middle weights. The Cougars responded with strong performances from Kristy More and Rachel Berger, who each secured victories to keep Sioux Falls within striking distance.

More delivered one of the highlights of the afternoon, earning a dominant 10-0 technical fall at 145 pounds. Despite their efforts, Chadron State controlled the pace of the dual, picking up bonus points in several bouts to secure the 29-10 team victory.
