BISMARCK, N.D. – The University of Sioux Falls men's wrestling team dropped a 37–7 dual decision to the No. 10 Mary Marauders on the road today.
Mary claimed seven of nine contested bouts and added a forfeit at 197 pounds to secure the team victory. The Marauders opened the dual with three straight bonus-point wins at 125, 133, and 141 pounds, building early momentum with two technical falls and a major decision.
At 149 pounds, Mary added another major decision before USF got on the board at 157. Cooper Sanders turned in a strong performance, earning an 11–6 decision over Gabriel Wagner to put three team points on the board for the Cougars.
Mary answered at 165 with an 11–6 decision and continued to extend its lead at 174 with a 15–5 major decision. The Marauders picked up a fall at 184 and received a forfeit at 197 to widen the gap.
USF closed the dual with a bright spot at heavyweight, where Stetson Davis secured a 17–2 technical fall over Aidyn Mitchell to add five points to the final tally.
A team point was later deducted due to a bench penalty, resulting in the final 37–7 score.
