SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Football team has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring six home contests at Bob Young Field and a full slate of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matchups. 

The Cougars will open the 2026 campaign on Thursday, August 27, hosting Black Hills State at 6 p.m. before hitting the road for two of their next six games. USF returns home on September 12 to take on Minnesota State Moorhead before hosting Minnesota State on September 26 as part of Cougar Days. 

In conjunction with the schedule release, USF Athletics has also opened season ticket renewals and new season ticket purchases for the upcoming fall.

 2026 SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN 

The Cougars will play six home games and five road contests, including a midseason bye week on October 17. 

USF opens the year with a non-divisional matchups, hosting Black Hills State (Aug. 27) before traveling to Jamestown (Sept. 5). NSIC play continues with Minnesota State Moorhead visiting Sioux Falls on September 12, followed by a road trip to UMary on September 19. 

A key early-season stretch includes a home matchup against Minnesota State on September 26, followed by a crosstown rivalry game at Augustana on October 3. 

The Cougars return home on October 10 for Hall of Fame Weekend against Southwest Minnesota State before the open week on October 17. 

Following the bye, Sioux Falls will host Minot State (Oct. 24) before closing the regular season with two of its final three games on the road at Winona State (Oct. 31) and Wayne State (Nov. 7). The final home contest is set for November 14 against Concordia-St. Paul.

SEASON TICKETS 

Season ticket renewals are now available for the 2026 season, with all returning ticket holders having their seats from last fall reserved. A purchase intent will be sent to each account, allowing fans to easily claim their same seats for the upcoming season.

Season ticket holders who wish to make changes to their seating location, add additional tickets, or opt out of their renewal are encouraged to contact Clint Neumann at tickets@usiouxfalls.edu for assistance.

New season ticket packages are also on sale for fans looking to secure their spot at Bob Young Field this fall. 

Cougar Club members and corporate sponsors will receive additional information regarding their ticket allotments at a later date. Their previously held seats will remain reserved in the meantime.

Upon purchase, fans will receive an order confirmation via email. Tickets will be accessible through their online account, and fans are encouraged to download and save tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for the most efficient entry on gameday.
