Biography

2013 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Saw limited action due to elbow surgery the previous season…played in 12 total sets…tallied an ace versus Findlay (9/6)…went 3-0-4 (.750) in a sweep at Dakota State for a career-high three kills where she also posted two blocks…played one set during USF’s NSIC quarterfinal match against No. 2 University of Minnesota-Duluth.

2012 (FRESHMAN): Received a medical redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned 2012 all-conference honorable mention and Lincoln Journal Academic All-State honors as a senior…served as team captain for a Badgers squad that claimed the 2011 Nebraska State Championship and the 2011 Capitol Conference Championship…named to the Presidential honor roll four straight years.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Bret and Mary Jo Jacob...has one brother (Seth) who plays baseball at York College...academic major is biology...loves music and college football...Tim Tebow is her favorite athlete…aspires to be a physician’s assistant or pediatrician …volunteers with Step Out and vacation bible school. 


Why Megan chose USF: “For volleyball, the great campus atmosphere and because it seemed very strong spiritually."
