Biography

High School: Played at West Central in Hartford, S.D. As a senior this past season, Hofer averaged 15.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, shot 44 percent from the field and 73 percent from the free-throw line, and led the Trojans to a 22-3 record and the 2008 Class A girls' state championship.

In the title game against top-ranked Dell Rapids, Hofer scored 16 points, collected 13 rebounds, and had four blocks to go with four assists, giving the Trojans a 47-34 victory over the Quarriers.

For her career, she was a four year basketball letter winner, three-time all conference selection, and finished with 1,086 points, 617 rebounds, 189 assists, 150 blocks, and 137 steals.
