HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport star at Brookings High School… an all-state and all-region hurler for the Bobcats…led the Post 74 Bandits to an overall 43-12 record and their first state American Legion baseball title in Brookings history and was named the South Dakota Legion State A player of the year…was “heroic” on Legion championship Sunday as he tossed a five-hitter on two days rest in the win over the Rapid City Post 22 HardHats before returning later in the day to throw two scoreless innings and earn the save in the championship game victory over Sioux Falls Post 15…received Legion Tournament MVP honors…also tabbed ESD conference all-state in football three times and a member of the 2011-12 Elite 45 football team…also received all-state academic honors in baseball, basketball and football.  

PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Anita Thomas…has two siblings, Zach (21) and Sydney…business administration major and his career goal is to be successful…favorite athlete is Mike Trout…non-baseball hobbies are NFL football, watching television and sleeping…can flip his eyelids inside out.
