2018 - Key member of defense that ranked 21st in DII and third in the NSIC in scoring defense (19.0 ppg), 32nd in DII and sixth in the NSIC in rushing defense (120.2 ypg), 54th in DII and four in the NSIC in total defense (339.8 ypg)...helped lead USF to a 7-4 record...played in all 11 games with nine starts...had 17 tackles with seven solo stops, had 2.5 TFLs and two quarterback sacks for -8 yards in losses...recorded two pass breakups...had a TFL and career-high four tackles with two solo stops against St. Cloud State on 10-13-2018...recorded sacks against Winona State on 9-8-2018 and Wayne State on 111-10-2018...eight times recorded a tackle in a game and had three or more four times.

PALOMAR COLLEGE: Accumulated 42 tackles in 18 games played across two seasons...had 19 solo stops, 2.5 quarterback sacks, 7.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups...registered 19 tackles, including a sack and four tackles for loss for Palomar College in 2017...In 2016 had 23 tackles, including 10 solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 quarterback sacks...named second team all-conference on defense.

HIGH SCHOOL: Starred at Oceanside HS for head coach John Carroll on the offensive and defensive lines...named first team All-CIF on defense...also earned academic honors at Oceanside.

PERSONAL: Son of Maggie  and Clinton Zimmerman...has a brother, Jonah...psychology major.
