Fannin competed in basketball, tennis, and softball for the Arrows. She was a 3-time All-Eastern South Dakota Conference selection and a 2-time South Dakota All-State honoree. As a senior, she averaged 14.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Fannin was also a 2-time team MVP and an Academic All-State team member. She was part of the Pentagon Scholars and Dakota Niners.
