2013 (JUNIOR): Started 27 games for the Cougars, batting .210 with 8 RBI and 11 runs scored…61 putouts with 34 assists, and 6 errors with a fielding percentage of .941…seven-game hitting streak which pushed her batting percentage to a season high .259…recorded 3 RBI in game vs. Southwest Minnesota State.
2012 (SOPHOMORE): Went on a tear through the Cougars’ first nine games of 2012...batted .321 with 13 RBI and nine runs scored before enduring a 10-game hitless streak and struggled to a .221/.241/.346 finish...recorded a team-high 119 putouts with 21 assists and 16 errors for an .897 fielding percentage.
2011(GRAND RAPIDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE): Tallied a slash line of .439/.482/.690 in 44 games for the Raiders (20-28)...1.172 OPS...racked up 54 hits in 123 at-bats with seven doubles and six home runs...also scored 34 runs and drew 10 base on balls...had a stolen base success rate of .923 (24-of-26)...was 4-for-4 in the Raiders' postseason loss to Jackson CC in the 2011 District G tournament...garnered second-team all conference accolades...member of the 2011 MCCAA All-District tournament team & 2011 Louisville Slugger NFCA NJCAA Division II All Region squad...her .439 batting average stands as the best regular season average in the history of GRCC softball...set a new GRCC record with three homeruns in a twinbill on 4/7/11...selected to play travel ball with the ASA U23 2010 Midland Lady Explorers...starting shortstop for the Michigan District 9 team that won the 2011 Big League World Series...her .438 batting average was fourth-highest amongst all world series participants...two of the world series games were broadcast on ESPN.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played softball, basketball and volleyball at Northview High School...named all-conference, all-district, all-region and second team all-state in softball...recognized as one of the Top-10 players in the Grand Rapids area...also art club president, German club secretary...member of theater, choir and the dance team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Rod and Cheryl Dewey, has two brothers, Kegan (23) and Colin (22)...biology and criminal justice major...wants to be a zookeeper...loves Shakespeare.
