Biography

2012 (JUNIOR): Quintana tied the school single-season home run record (5) and led the Cougars with a .387/.430/.613 slash...accounted for 13 of USF’s 45 multi-hit games, including a pair of 3-for-3 efforts against the New York Institute of Technology and Wayne State College.

2010-11 (Iowa Lakes CC): Played two seasons for the Lakers...batted .470 in 2011 with three home runs for a Lakers squad that went 27-12...named second team ICCAC All-Region as a sophomore and first team as a freshman...Lakers went 61-11 in 2010 and were the 2010 ICCAC, Region XI and District F champions...squad also finshed third at the NJCAA national tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played softball at Mayfair HS (Los Angeles).

PERSONAL: Daughter of Maria De Santiago...has four brothers and two sisters, sister Brianna is a member of the Cerritos College (Calif.) softball team...has a brother with rubinstein-taybi syndrome and every Friday night, is part of a team that volunteers to take him and other youth suffering from illness out for a karaoke night...psychology major, criminal justice minor...wants to be a criminal psychologist...loves animals.
