Visiting Team Athletic Training Information
The University of Sioux Falls Athletic Training Staff would like to welcome you to campus for your upcoming competition.
A certified athletic trainer will be on site during the game. The Athletic Training Room will be open at least one hour before the start of the match and open until 30 minutes after the match has finished.
The Athletic Training Room for Volleyball and Basketball is located inside the Stewart Center (1120 West 26th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105). Football and Women’s Soccer will use the USF Complex Athletic Training Room (6200 S. Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls SD 57105).
We will provide water, cups, and ice for the sidelines and locker room for the games. Modalities include ice, heat, E-Stim, Ultrasound, and Whirlpool, and will be available to certified athletic trainers traveling with visiting teams. If you are unable to send a certified athletic trainer, we ask that you include a letter from your certified athletic trainer with orders to use the modalities and also a stocked kit for all of your other needs. Emergency equipment will be available at all times. Please contact the Athletic Training Staff prior to the competition if you have any specific requests.
Our team physician(s) will either be available or on call during athletic events. Below is a list of medical facilities utilized by The University of Sioux Falls. We will be happy to assist your team with the coordination of further medical treatment if needed.
