Career
One of the top strikeout arms in the Cougar rotation, Brady Baur has developed into a frontline starter for Sioux Falls after three seasons of steady growth. Known for his swing-and-miss stuff and competitiveness on the mound, Baur has emerged as one of the NSIC’s premier arms.
2026 (Junior)
Baur put together his best collegiate season, going 6-3 with a 4.62 ERA across 13 appearances and 12 starts while logging a team-high 62.1 innings. He struck out 74 batters, averaging more than 10 strikeouts per nine innings, while holding opponents to a .249 batting average. His season included an 11-strikeout performance against Washburn, a dominant six-inning shutout outing against Northern State, and a complete seven-inning shutout victory over Wayne State in the NSIC Tournament. He earned NSIC Pitcher of the Week honors, Dave & Buster’s USF Athlete of the Week recognition, Academic Achievement honors, and was part of the NSIC Team of Excellence. Baur also maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
2025 (Sophomore)
Named an NSIC Preseason Athlete to Watch entering the season, Baur made 12 appearances with 43.0 innings pitched, finishing with a 3-4 record and 45 strikeouts. He continued to establish himself as a key rotation arm for the Cougars.
2024 (Freshman)
Made an immediate impact in his first collegiate season, posting a 2-4 record with a 6.08 ERA across 40.0 innings in 10 appearances. Recorded 45 strikeouts and showed early signs of his strikeout potential, including a complete game effort.
High School
Baur competed in baseball during his prep career, serving as team captain during his senior season. He also competed with Starters Sports Training.

Son of Tanya and Kevin Baur. Has one sister, Paige.
