Career

A right-handed pitcher, Benson joined the Cougar baseball program in 2026 and continues to develop within the USF pitching staff while gaining collegiate experience.

2026 (Freshman)

Began his collegiate career with the Cougars as a right-handed pitcher, developing his skills and gaining experience during his first season with the program.

High School

Benson attended Minnetonka High School, where he competed in baseball and football for the Skippers. He earned A Honor Roll and Student-Athlete Scholar recognition during his prep career and also competed for the MacStrength club baseball program.

Personal

Benson is the son of Derek and Heather Benson and has one sister, Brooke.
