Biography

Career
A developing position player for the Cougars, Caden Ransom has appeared in 22 career games with nine starts across his first two collegiate seasons. He has shown versatility as a depth option in the Sioux Falls lineup while continuing to gain collegiate experience.

2026 (Sophomore)
Ransom appeared in 14 games with five starts for the Cougars, recording two hits, two RBIs, and two walks across 23 at-bats. He drove in runs against Wilmington (Del.) and Florida Tech while adding defensive work in the outfield. His season high included a three-putout performance at Florida Tech.

2025 (Freshman)
Made an immediate impact in limited action, starting four of eight games while batting .333 with six hits, one double, one RBI, two runs scored, and one stolen base.
