A left-handed pitcher who joined the Cougars after transferring from Dakota County Technical College, Cooper Sanders provided bullpen depth in his first season at Sioux Falls. Prior to USF, Sanders logged 29.2 innings at Dakota County Technical College, recording 39 strikeouts while allowing just 27 hits.
2026 (Senior)
Sanders made eight appearances, including one start, for the Cougars in his first season with the program. He logged 8.2 innings and recorded nine strikeouts, highlighted by a four-strikeout outing in 2.0 innings against the University of Mary. He also delivered scoreless relief appearances against Winona State, Northern State, and Minnesota State while contributing as a left-handed bullpen option.
