Brian Scherschligt is entering his fourth season as an Assistant Coach for the USF Baseball Team.
Assistant Coach Brian Scherschligt completed his third season with USF Baseball in 2026, helping guide the Cougars to a 26-26 record. He provided key support and training to an offense that generated 501 hits and a pitching staff that tallied 371 strikeouts, helping mentor All-Conference standouts Mitch Iliff, Drew Miller, and Dominic Vogel. Scherschligt also backed the program's strong academic campaign, which yielded nine NSIC Team of Excellence honors, 10 All-Academic selections, and a CorTrust Scholar-Athlete designation for Tyler Maeyaert.
