Charlie Dubanoski is in his third season as the top assistant baseball coach at USF.
At USF, Dubanoski serves as hitting instructor, works with the catchers, assists in recruiting and day-to-day operations in the office.
He has served on the USF squads which finished 15-31 (15-21 NSIC) in 2018 and 19-31 (16-24 NSIC) in 2017.
He also served as head coach for the Sioux Falls Legion West in 2018.
Prior to joining the USF staff, he served as associate director of Player Development with the Sioux Empire Baseball Association. At SEBA, the Burnsville, Minn., native directed the Association's Camp and Academy programming, tournament administration, as well as coordinated all aspects of player and coach development. The Sioux Empire Baseball Association provides programming for over 4,200 players and 299 teams while its camp program serves over 600 area athletes.

A two-time All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference selection at Augustana, Dubanoski played for the Vikings from 2008-11. He was a two-time all-league performer (2010, 2011) and named to three different all-region teams. Dubanoski was also selected to the 2011 NSIC All-Tournament Team and was named NSIC Player of the Week on March 23, 2010.Â
Dubanoski had a career batting average of .358, while driving in 157 runs with 37 doubles and 28 home runs at Augustana. As a senior, he was third in the NSIC with a .398 batting average while slugging .602 (5th, NSIC) with 70 hits (6th, NSIC) and 52 RBI (5th, NSIC). His playing career included a professional stint in the Pecos Independent League with the Roswell Invaders franchise during the summer of 2013. Â

Following his playing career, Dubanoski served as an assistant American Legion coach in 2011 for the Burnsville, Minn., Cobra Legion Team and served as head coach for the Bloomington Gold (Legion) program in 2012 and 2014. He was a graduate assistant in baseball at Winona State from 2012-14, where he completed his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Sports Management.
