David Rodriguez is entering his second season with the USF Baseball Team as a Volunteer Assistant Coach
Volunteer Assistant Coach David Rodriguez completed his first season with USF Baseball in 2026, helping guide the Cougars to a 26-26 record. He provided valuable support to an offense that generated 501 hits and a pitching staff that racked up 371 strikeouts, helping mentor All-Conference selections Mitch Iliff, Drew Miller, and Dominic Vogel. Rodriguez also backed the program's strong academic campaign, which yielded nine NSIC Team of Excellence honors, 10 All-Academic selections, and a CorTrust Scholar-Athlete designation for Tyler Maeyaert.
