High School
Lunders graduated from Lincoln High School, where he competed in baseball and football for the Patriots. As a senior, he was named the 2026 High School Offensive Player of the Year while earning First Team All-State and All-Region honors. He also played summer baseball for Sioux Falls Post 15 East.

Personal
Lunders is the son of Wade and Jennifer Lunders and has two sisters, Maleah and Brinley. He plans to major in Business at the University of Sioux Falls.
