Biography

2012 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): A staple in left field (33 starts), Kardas was unable to shake a vicious season-long hitting slump...posted a .299/.365/.448 line in his first two seasons at USF but suffered a mysterious free fall of a junior campaign, hitting just .205/.276/.304 in 2012.

2011 (JUNIOR): Took a redshirt.

2010 (SOPHOMORE): Posted a slash of .309/.454/.368 with 35 RBI, also scored 33 runs…7-for-9 on stolen base attempts.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in 20 games (13 starts), batted .288 (15-for-52) with 10 runs scored and 8 RBI…recorded one triple and a home run.

HIGH SCHOOL: played baseball at Oceanside High School... led the Pirates to a
runner-up finish in the 2008 San Diego County Division II Championship game...team captain, achieved honorable mention team honors three times.

PERSONAL: Son of Ed and Cathy Kardas...has two siblings...radiologic technology
major...wants to work in urgent care after college.
