Career
A developing outfielder in the Cougar program, Jhett Peterson joined Sioux Falls as a right-handed outfield prospect out of western South Dakota. He earned collegiate experience during his first season on the active roster while continuing to develop within the program.

2026 (Freshman)
Peterson appeared in three games for the Cougars, serving primarily in a reserve role. He scored two runs in limited action, contributing in wins over Minnesota State and Jamestown while gaining valuable collegiate experience.

2025 (Freshman)
Entered his first collegiate season with Sioux Falls as a projected outfield contributor.

High School
Graduated from Stevens High School in Rapid City, South Dakota, where he competed in baseball for the Raiders. Peterson also earned academic honors during his prep career and played club baseball with Post 320 Stars.

Personal
Son of Luke and Melissa Peterson. Has two siblings, Kaden and Everley.
