2012 (Anoka Ramsey CC): led the Golden Rams in hitting (.356) and runs scored (24)…drew 16 walks and stood second on the team with 36 hits…the all-Southern Division player ultimately finished with one homer, eight doubles and 19 RBI…caught more than 95 percent of Anoka Ramsey’s innings in 2012 but will be moved to first base.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-state and two-time all region player at Brookings High School…tabbed academic all-state in football…integral member of the 2012 Post 74 Bandits squad that finished 43-12 overall and won the first state American Legion baseball title in Brookings history…also played basketball.

PERSONAL: Parents are Dave and Kathleen Beste…siblings are Kiley (21) and Konner (17)…English major…wants to be a high school English teacher and a coach…favorite athlete is Albert Pujols…enjoys music, movies and reading.
