Biography

2025-26 (Kirkwood Community College)
Motl spent two seasons at Kirkwood Community College, batting .290 while helping the program compete at a high level. In the classroom, he earned Academic All-Region honors twice while maintaining a 3.92 GPA.

High School
Motl graduated from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, where he starred on the baseball diamond for the Patriots. A two-time All-State selection, he was ranked as the No. 1 player in South Dakota's 2024 class by Perfect Game. During his senior season, he hit .492 with a 1.563 OPS while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. Motl also competed for Northstar during his club baseball career.

Personal
Motl is the son of Kerry and Sarah Motl and has two older brothers, Ryan and Zach. He plans to major in Business at the University of Sioux Falls.
