Career
A dynamic outfielder and table-setter for the Cougars, Nolan Drossel has developed into one of Sioux Falls’ most consistent offensive contributors. Across three collegiate seasons, Drossel has appeared in 131 games with 114 starts, compiling a .314 career batting average with 119 hits, 94 runs scored, 46 RBI, 16 doubles, two triples, and 26 stolen bases.
2026 (Redshirt Junior)
Drossel started all 52 games for the Cougars, batting .312 with 49 hits, six doubles, one triple, 25 RBI, and 39 runs scored. He added 12 stolen bases and posted a .393 on-base percentage, continuing his role as one of the team’s top offensive catalysts. His top performances included a 3-for-4 outing with three runs scored against Bemidji State and a three-steal performance at Northern State. Defensively, he recorded a .982 fielding percentage with 88 putouts and 75 assists. He also earned Academic Achievement and NSIC All-Academic honors.
2025 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Started in 56 of 60 games for Sioux Falls, batting .335 with 67 hits in 200 at-bats. He totaled 10 doubles, one triple, 20 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and 49 runs scored while serving as a key offensive spark at the top of the lineup.
2024 (Redshirt Freshman)
Appeared in 20 games with seven starts, batting .154 with four hits, one RBI, seven runs scored, and three stolen bases.
