A versatile athlete with junior college experience, Tanner Inhofer joined the Cougars after a productive stint at Minnesota West Community & Technical College. During his time at Minnesota West, Inhofer posted a .368 batting average with a .466 on-base percentage and a .552 slugging percentage, adding three home runs and 11 stolen bases.

Played at Minnesota West Community & Technical College, where he was an offensive contributor, batting .368 with a .466 on-base percentage and a .552 slugging percentage. He added three home runs and 11 stolen bases during his junior college career.

High School
Inhofer was a multi-sport athlete at Sturgis Brown High School, competing in baseball, basketball, and track & field. He earned SDHSBAA All-State honors in both 2021 and 2022, was a 2021 SDHSTFAA State Champion, and was a four-year honor roll recipient.
