2024-26 (Century College / St. Cloud State)
Tierney spent two seasons at Century College before transferring to St. Cloud State, where he received a medical redshirt during the 2026 season. Across his 2024 and 2025 campaigns, he appeared in 106 games and batted .358 with a .455 on-base percentage and .725 slugging percentage for a 1.180 OPS. He totaled 129 hits, 59 extra-base hits, 34 home runs, 145 RBIs, and 86 runs scored while posting a .989 fielding percentage over 206 defensive chances. His standout career earned him two All-American selections (2024 and 2025), 2024 Academic All-American honors, and the 2024 Region 13 Player of the Year award.

High School
Tierney graduated from Eden Prairie High School, where he competed in baseball and football for the Eagles. He earned All-Conference honors on the baseball diamond and also played club baseball with MacStrength.

Personal
Tierney is the son of Katie and Dave Tierney and plans to major in Business Administration at the University of Sioux Falls. Away from baseball, he enjoys golfing and weightlifting.
