Career
A transfer right-handed pitcher who joined the Cougars from Dakota County Technical College, Taylor Morrissette provided innings for Sioux Falls during his first collegiate season at the NCAA Division II level. Known for his junior college success, Morrissette brought experience and strikeout ability to the Cougar pitching staff.

2026 (Junior)
Morrissette appeared in 11 games with four starts for Sioux Falls, logging 23.0 innings while striking out 16 batters. He picked up key outings throughout the season, including 5.0 innings against Augustana, 4.0 innings at Minot State, and a scoreless relief appearance against Winona State in a Cougar win. Defensively, he posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

Dakota County Technical College
During two seasons at Dakota County Technical College, Morrissette compiled an impressive 12-4 record across 86.2 innings. As a freshman, he went 7-1 with a 2.70 ERA, 52 strikeouts, and a 1.4 WHIP in 45.2 innings. As a sophomore, he added a 5-3 record with 44 strikeouts in 41.0 innings, finishing his junior college career with 96 strikeouts.
