Career
A versatile international addition to the Cougar lineup, William Edwards has emerged as a consistent offensive contributor across his collegiate career, combining gap power, speed, and defensive reliability while making an immediate impact after transferring from McCook Community College.
2026 (Senior)
Edwards started all 52 games for the Cougars, batting .326 with 62 hits, 45 runs scored, 40 RBIs, nine doubles, two triples, four home runs, and eight stolen bases while posting a .419 on-base percentage and .458 slugging percentage. He recorded 18 multi-hit performances, including a three-hit, four-RBI outing against Concordia-St. Paul, and finished with a .979 fielding percentage in 95 chances. Edwards earned Academic Achievement recognition and was a member of the NSIC Team of Excellence.
2025 (Junior)
Started 35 of 42 games in his first season at USF, batting .295 with 33 hits, six doubles, one triple, four home runs, 26 RBIs, and 23 runs scored while adding one stolen base.
2023-24 (McCook Community College)
Compiled a .352 career batting average across two seasons at McCook Community College, totaling 10 doubles, two triples, four home runs, and 41 RBIs.
High School
Edwards competed in baseball and soccer at Oakhill College in Australia. Internationally, he represented Australia in the 2016 Little League World Series and the 2018 Junior League World Series.
