Career
Andy has quickly made an impact at the collegiate level. In 2024, his redshirt freshman season, he earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors, was named NSIC First Team All-Conference, and received the NSIC Defensive Newcomer Player of the Year award. He appeared in 10 games and recorded 63 total tackles, two pass deflections, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one interception for 10 yards.
2024 (Redshirt Freshman)

He played in 10 games and recorded 63 total tackles (46 solo, 17 assisted), two pass deflections, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one interception for 10 yards.
High School
Henson competed in football, basketball, and track at West Branch. He was named All-District linebacker in 2020 and earned District MVP honors on offense in 2021, along with first team running back and All-State linebacker recognition. In 2022, he was District MVP on defense and a first team All-State linebacker. Over his high school career, he rushed for 3,807 yards with 54 rushing touchdowns, caught 57 passes for 574 yards and two receiving touchdowns, threw one passing touchdown, and totaled 147 tackles including 32 tackles for loss, five sacks, and three fumble recoveries.

Andy is the son of Mike and Beth Henson. He has one sibling, Nicki.
