High School

Wakeley graduated from Hartington-Newcastle Public Schools in Hartington, Nebraska, where he competed in football, basketball, and track for the Wildcats. He earned 3.5+ Honor Roll recognition and received All-State Honorable Mention, along with two First Team All-District selections and two All-District Honorable Mentions. He also competed with Hartington-Newcastle’s club program.

Wakeley is the son of Brian and Raquel Humphries and has one sibling, Abrie (13).
