High School

Kittelson was a multi-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and baseball. He was a member of the National Honor Society and earned Academic All-State honors in all three sports. On the football field, he was named All-District Player of the Year, All-Conference, and Team MVP. His senior season stats included a 60% completion rate, 1,814 passing yards with 23 passing touchdowns, 930 rushing yards on 68 attempts with 13 rushing touchdowns, as well as 37 tackles, five interceptions, and three defensive touchdowns.

He is the son of Matt Kittelson and Ranell Wacek and has two siblings, Drew and Anna.
