Biography


2025 (Redshirt Sophomore)

Played in 11 games for the Cougars, serving as the team’s primary running back. Rushed 196 times for 938 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 85.3 rushing yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry, with a long run of 54 yards. Added 15 receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns out of the backfield. Finished the season with 10 total touchdowns, contributing as a consistent offensive presence throughout the year.

2024 (Redshirt Freshman)

Bubba played in 10 games during the 2024 season, recording 283 rushing yards on 47 attempts with a long run of 52 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns.

2023 (Redshirt)

Redshirted during his first season with USF.

High School

Bubba competed in football and track & field. He was named the 2022 State Championship MVP and earned 2nd team All-Conference and 2nd team All-League honors. Over his high school career, he totaled 237 carries for 2,079 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Bubba is the son of Janette and Carlson Tann II and has two siblings, Ashley and Natasha.
