At Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, Morse was a standout in both football and track. He earned All-State recognition and was a two-time All-District selection in football, making a name for himself as a versatile athlete and dependable defender.

He is the son of Erin and Jim Morse and has two siblings, Brecken and Livia.
