Career
Cain has played in 30 games throughout his collegiate career, showing consistent contributions in the secondary with multiple interceptions and solid tackling ability. He has earned NSIC All-Academic honors twice and demonstrated versatility as both a defensive back and a kickoff returner.
2024 (Redshirt Junior)
Cain was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team. He played in 11 games and recorded 24 total tackles, including 13 solo and 11 assisted, along with 2 pass deflections.
2023 (Redshirt Sophomore)
He earned NSIC All-Academic honors and played in 11 games. Cain returned 3 kickoffs for 16 yards, recorded 1 interception for 60 yards, and totaled 28 tackles with 23 solo and 5 assisted, plus 1 pass deflection.
2022 (Redshirt Freshman)
Cain played in 8 games and recorded 1 interception for a touchdown. He rushed for 5 yards and made 10 solo tackles with 3 assisted tackles.
2021 (Redshirt)
Cain redshirted during his first season with the Cougars.
High School
Cain competed in football, basketball, and sprinting on the track team. He accumulated 1,872 career rushing yards with 15 touchdowns. As a junior, he rushed for 1,014 yards and eight touchdowns. During his pandemic-shortened senior season, he amassed 858 yards and seven rushing scores. He earned first-team all-district, first-team All-Mississippi Valley Conference, and Academic All-Mississippi Conference honors as a senior. Cain was also named first-team all-conference and first-team all-district. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Black Men’s Coalition.

Cain is the son of Keli McWilliams and Torriano Stewart and has siblings Marquies, Markel, Marshaun, Alex, Kalie, and Kylia.
