High School
He competed in football, baseball, track, and golf at Henry High School. Kelly earned ECC All-Conference honors in 2020 and was named ECC All-Conference Defensive MVP in 2021. He was also recognized as an All-State Defensive Lineman and the 9AA Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2021. Kelly served as team captain in 2020 and 2021. Over his high school career, he amassed 97 solo tackles, 98 assisted tackles, 15.5 sacks, seven fumble recoveries, and six forced fumbles. He is a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal
He is the son of Tom and Angie Kelly and has three siblings: Charlie, Caylin, and Carson.
