Biography

2024 (Redshirt Sophomore)

Kelly played in 10 games, recording eight solo tackles, one assisted tackle, and one sack.

2023 (Redshirt Freshman)

He appeared in six games, recording two solo tackles and one assisted tackle.

2022 (Redshirt)

Kelly redshirted his freshman year.

High School

He competed in football, baseball, track, and golf at Henry High School. Kelly earned ECC All-Conference honors in 2020 and was named ECC All-Conference Defensive MVP in 2021. He was also recognized as an All-State Defensive Lineman and the 9AA Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2021. Kelly served as team captain in 2020 and 2021. Over his high school career, he amassed 97 solo tackles, 98 assisted tackles, 15.5 sacks, seven fumble recoveries, and six forced fumbles. He is a member of the National Honor Society.

He is the son of Tom and Angie Kelly and has three siblings: Charlie, Caylin, and Carson.
