2025 (Junior)
Played in 11 games for the Cougars, recording 13 receptions for 278 yards and four touchdowns. Averaged 21.4 yards per catch and 25.3 receiving yards per game, with a long reception of 51 yards. Also added a 27-yard kickoff return.
2024 (Sophomore)
Janis played in 10 games, totaling 216 receiving yards with a long of 50 and scoring 2 touchdowns.
2023 (Freshman)
He also appeared in 10 games during his freshman season. He rushed for 20 yards on 3 attempts, recorded 214 receiving yards with a long of 75, and scored 3 touchdowns. Janis added 4Â kick return attempts for 59 yards, with a long return of 20 yards.
High School
At Iowa City West, Janis competed in football, swimming, and track & field. He was named First-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-State in football. In swimming, he qualified for state in the 50-yard freestyle. On the track, he was a state qualifier in the 4x100, 4x200, 100m, and 200m. He was named West High’s 2022 Athlete of the Year.
