Carlton Littlejohn

Carlton Littlejohn enters his second season with the University of Sioux Falls Football team as their special teams coordinator and linebackers coach. This follows a five year stint at Minnesota State University – Moorhead.

In the 2023 season Cougar Football finished the season 3-8 and 9th in conference standings. They also had 8 athletes awarded All-Academic team and 10 athletes awarded All-Academic team of Excellence.

While with the Dragons, Littlejohn served as a defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Before joining the Dragons, Littlejohn was a special team's coordinator and linebackers coach at Jamestown University followed by a year at Gustavus Adolphus as a defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

Prior to his coaching career, Littlejohn was a first team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection for the North Dakota State University Bison. Currently, he sits fourth in all-time tackles at NDSU with 345 tackles throughout his career. Littlejohn was a key part in the Bison defense of which was ranked in the top 10 nationally in multiple categories. Littlejohn made 43 starts for the Bison as a part of four straight Missouri Valley Football Conference championships as well as four NCAA Division I FCS national championships.
