Luke Jarzynka

Luke Jarzynka is in his second season at the University of Sioux Falls.  In 2016, he is coaching the safeties after being an assistant linebackers coach in 2015, in addition to being the video coordinator for both seasons. He is part of the staff for the undefeated USF Football Team (12-0). He was part of the staff that helped USF win its first-ever NSIC title and first DII playoff game in 2016.

Prior to joining the USF staff, Jarzynka was at the University of Northern Colorado from 2014-2015 - first as a defensive quality control coach and later as the Director of Football Operations.  In his latter role, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the football program, acted as the team's liaison to other University departments, coordinated team travel, and was actively involved in player development.

Before joining UNC, Jarzynka spent four seasons coaching high school football in Michigan while also working in the gear manufacturing industry as a project manager.   A 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Jarzynka was a Science-Business major and spent time as a walk-on for the Fighting Irish before working as a recruiting assistant.

Jarzynka is a native of Jackson, Michigan, attended Lumen Christi High School, and played on two state championship football teams.  He and his wife are the proud parents of two sons.  Jarzynka is currently enrolled in USF's MBA program and will graduate in 2017.
